Wared Logistics, the world-class provider of logistics and transportation services for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, announces that it has partnered with Preferred Freezer Services (PFS), the premier global provider of cold storage warehouses, to construct and manage refrigerated warehouses throughout MENA.

"The MENA region is enjoying significant economic growth and has a substantial unsatisfied need for refrigerated services. It is a key target in our global expansion plans," said John Galiher, CEO of Preferred Freezer Services. Initial warehouse facilities are targeted for Cairo, Egypt; Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; and Abu Dhabi, UAE; with longer-term plans for nine other regional centers. In addition, Wared Logistics will provide refrigerated trucking services in each region for delivery to ultimate customers, and global trade management, importation, and drayage services to the distribution centers from the Ports-of-Entry.

The Jeddah facility will serve initially as the gateway to the entire Kingdom and will eventually serve as the hub to other PFS/Wared facilities throughout the KSA.
